John Masefield was an English poet and writer and was Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom from 1930 until 1967. He is best remembered as the author of the classic children's novel The Midnight Folk and for poems such as 'Sea Fever.' In a blue quarter calf binding with cloth boards. Externally, very smart with some fading to boards and spine and very light rubbing. Small instances of loss at front joint. Gift ink inscription to front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean aside from the occasional spot. Very Good
