Osaka, Japan: Hoikusha, 1956. Hardcover. Very Good-/Very Good-. Revised by Ikusaku Amamiya. A book of colour photographs of aquarium fishes, written in Japanese, with species identified in Latin and English as well; the plates are also indexed in Latin and English. Green cloth with silver titling on spine and front, colour paste-down on front, illustrated end papers and title page, colour plates illustrate the first half of the book; the second half illustrated with black and white photographs, drawings and diagrams, 130 pages. Book is in a stapled cardboard slipcase with wrap-around colour pastedown with illustration and titling. Light foxing to end papers, text block edge is slightly darkened. Dust jacket has light edge wear, spine slightly sunned. Slipcase is darkened with light shelf wear. This is a very handsome book, in nice condition. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees.
