First UK edition, Good, unread book with light bumps to bottom corners, moderate foxing to page edges, and with light staining to front end pages; in a Very Good jacket that has edge and corner wear, mild soiling, and a small closed tear back panel, bottom at spine. Signed on title page as Block. This is one of three Block novels written as Kavanagh. The book is loosely based on the 1957-58 killing spree of Charlie Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate, who murdered 11 people in Nebraska and Wyoming. Very scarce in UK edition.
