Edinburgh, UK: Canongate Academic. Bound in red cloth, with bright black titles to spine, this 1997 hardcover First UK Edition is VG in torn wrapper. 192pp with Preface by Stephen F. Cohen, Introduction, Collection of Photographs from the David King Collection of Art and Photographs subject to Political Falsification under Stalin and others. Several illustrations on most pages: before and after images compared. One example, from page 46, shows two versions of photo from the celebrations of the second anniversary of the Russian Revolution. Trotsky appears in the 1919 version but not in the same photo published in 1967. Wrapper is missing one third of the front panel. Slight creasing to front black endpaper. Minor damp affect to bottom area of last 20 pages: illustrations merely show slight creasing but no loss of picture quality. General condition Close Vg with damaged wrapper as described . Very Good. Hardback. First UK Edition. 1997.
