About This Item
United States Publishing Company, 1906. Hardcover. Acceptable. No jackets, as issued. On volume one, the spine is completely disconnected (tucked in at ffep), with the top board free floating (stored and shipped in plastic bag to keep it with the book). Despite this, the textblock itself still has a sound and tight binding, with no loose pages. For volume two, the boards show moderate allover wear with rubbing and scuffing, and there is significant wear to the spine, with chipping and loss to the titling and decoration over spine plate. Exterior hinges cracked with exposed webbing, though interior hinges intact, and the binding is otherwise sound, strong and firm through textblock. In both volumes, the pages are clean and unmarked. Year: 1906.
