About This Item
[California, Privately Produced, 2013]. Prints in uniformly fine condition.. Collection of unique proof prints by Doug Rickard, originally used for publication purposes in the creation of his 2013 photobook N.A, published by White Press. Each print is SIGNED by Rickard, with "N.A proof" written on the verso. A series of images of violence and subversion on the fringes of American society, culled entirely from YouTube videos. A compelling rumination on contemporary U.S. culture in an age of media saturation, with themes of brutality, criminality, and self-promotion interwoven throughout. Includes 96 prints in a range of formats, with the majority measuring 5 X 8 inches and 6 X 8 inches.
