Octavo (19.5cm); powder gray cloth, with titling and decorative elements stamped in black and orange on spine and front cover; yellow topstain; dustjacket; [8],302pp. Spine ends gently nudge, vintage booksellers ticket to lower rear pastedown, else very Near Fine, with the topstain bright and unfaded. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $2.00), showing some trivial wear along spine ends and front flap fold, with a tiny tear to upper corner of rear flap fold; bright, unfaded, and very Near Fine.
Synopsis
Graham Greene (1904-1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the foreign office. His many books include The Third Man , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
