About This Item
Tokyo: Japan American Cultural Society, 1979. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good-/No Jacket. The book's subtitle is, "An Homage to Senator Hubert H. Humphrey." The first endsheet has a laid in Ex-Libris plate gifting the book to Senator Frank Church from Kasai, and bearing mr. Kasai's signature and noting his age, 93 years old. Book is clean and decent, if ever so mildly cocked (spine slant) and the spine has notable sun fade. The book consists of the extensive correspondence Mr. Kasai carried on with Mr. Humphrey and his correspondence with many other prominent American political figures. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. Books listed by Brass Dolphin are so described, and graded, using the strict, traditional standards. For this reason, we have virtually zero returns.*
