Manchester: Henry Blacklock and Co., 1891. Leather. Very Good Indeed. 10.5" by 6.5". None. A reference work on the constables' accounts of Manchester. Volume I of four only. Bound by Henry Blacklock of Manchester. This work covers the year 1612-1633. Compiled by J P Earwaker, an English antiquary. In a half vellum binding with paper covered boards. Externally, smart with rubbing t to the boards and to the extremities. Bumping to the spine at the rear joint. Many marks to the vellum spine. Rubbing to the spine label, resulting in small losses. Binder's label to the verso of front endpaper, Hy Blacklock. Prior owner's inscription to the recto of front endpaper, crossed out in pencil. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with the odd spot throughout. Very Good Indeed
