About This Item
London: Anon, 1643. Disbound. Good Only. 7" by 5". None. An extremely scarce seventeenth-century pamphlet, concerning the affairs of the Palatinate. This work is of particular significance to early Scottish Presbyterian history.Though the publication date on the title page is 1643, there is an additional clause on the final page, 'By Command of the Commissioners for the Parliament of Scotland. Io. Cheislie', which is dated December 17th, 1647. Disbound. Textblock is generally firm, though a little strained to the first few pages. Chipping to the first three leaves, which have been repaired with paper. Ink signature to title page. Evidence of past worming to the front few pages. Page are very bright (considering the age of the pamphlet), with just some odd foxing, and light tidemarks to the rear Good Only
