Blue cloth-covered; titles in red on front and spine printed labels; silk ribbon page marker. 8vo. Bumping and rounding to corners and spine ends. Shelf wear. Sun-fading to spine, slight fraying to spine ends. Red sprayed top text block dusty, remaining text block edges foxing and tanning. Light staining to rear board. Illustrative endpapers, evidence of previous labels on pastedowns. Bookplate and gift inscription on verso of frontispiece. Otherwise, internally neat, clean and bright, barring occasional foxing. Translated by Louise Brooks.
