The dust jacket, housed in mylar, shows very slight sunning to the spine. The book itself is unblemished and beautiful. It was printed and illustrated by Robert Gibbings on mould-made paper. ; Coppard was a British short story writer, popular particularly in the United States. Much of his writing contains elements of fantasy or the supernatural. In this story, the character Count Stefan lives in an Austrian hotel where he mysteriously refuses to speak ; 8vo; 57 pages .
