Book FINE/ Covers Very Good. Sewn binding. Coated Paper. Boards and spine are green cloth, lettering gilt. FRONT COVER is flat, clean, bright, no rips, no spine creases, one bent corner and a corner tip with wear, miniscule edge wear, no scratches, shadow of a round stain 1/2 inch diameter, front cover has EBC embossed in centre (Educational Book Company) surrounded by an embossed circle of black and navy blue and on each side of front are Art Deco rectangles in black/navy. SPINE has very minimal edge wear and a lovely accent of navy Art Deco bordered with gilt, spine text is clear and shiny, very minimal wear to sides of spine. BACK COVER is the same as the front with the top corner bent and the lower corner tip worn. Page edges slightly sunned, side edges quite clean, top edges navy. Inner end papers are white. The front cover has become loose at point of attachment to the spine, ffep paper is not torn and cover is not unattached but at back of ffep the paper on spine edge is torn for 3 inches exposing a bit of the binding cloth and outer spine is detached from inner spine for about 1/2 inch meaning that the bottom inside of the front cover is a bit loose. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Fully illustrated with black/white photos, colour illustrations, maps, and sections of brown/white photos and green/white photos. All pages tight in the book and none missing. Book is slightly over-opened at title page with one 1/2 inch high thin area of paper worn away at spine. Pages 2829 and 2837 are over-opened with a bit of cracking of the paper at the spine, and a slight exposure of spine glue but gap is not big enough to show spine threads or the cloth binding. Small bit of age darkening inside covers and on edges of some pages. Overall a very interesting book in great shape. Countries Described By The Leading Travel Writers Of The Day. Illustrated with some 4000 actual photographs of which about 1200 are given in Full Colour and in Photogravure. A fascinating glimpse into the world many years ago. WILLOWBAY BOOKS

THERE IS NO COVID-19 IN MY STORE AND MY SALES ARE ONLINE ONLY. IMPORTANT NOTE RE POSTAGE: I love books and most of my books are NEW or LIKE NEW. I'm very careful in describing my books accurately and I've done so to the best of my ability using the IOBA Book Condition guidelines. All items are from a smoke-free, clean, dry environment. My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office. Thanks for your understanding. I will always email you with the date your package was shipped, and shipping method used.

I'm sure you'll enjoy looking through my books, and purchasing from WILLOWBAY BOOKS. Thanks. Ms. Bronwen Kathy Williams, Ontario, Canada.
