Paisley: J. And R. Parlane, 1883, 1883. 12mo. Frontispiece, 66pp, (2)pp. ads at rear, Illustrated. The author researched most of the history for his book from earlier works such as Historie of the Kennedyis by an unknown author, A Coppee of the Ressoning....a thousand five hundreth thre scoir and two yeares along with local inforamtion. Bound in 3/4 black morocco over marbled paper covered boards with macthing endpapers, all edges marbled, slightly raised bands, title gilt, original front pictorial wrapper bound in. Lower joint split about an inch at head, some edgewear, small sticker to rear fly leaf. A very good copy.
