London: Faber and Faber, 1966. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Second impression. 251 pp. Very slight spine slant, bookplate on front pastedown; else clean and sound. Dust jacket shows light shelf wear, clipped at lower front flap (though price is still present), very light toning to spine. This novel is "the story of St Edward the Confessor, told by the royal chamberlain, son of a Winchester cordwainer" (dust jacket).
