50 New Bond Street,London: Chappell & Co., 1878. 6pp. Fine colour lithographic cover dsplaying two finely dressed Indian soldiers in full uniform with cavalry and foot regiments in the distace and in the far distance a fleet of sailing ships. The 1st Bombay Lancers,The Begal Cavalry, and the 13th Bencal Infantry. A small oval portrait of Sir Garnet Wosely beneath the title. P/N 16691 33.5cms. Small oval pub. blind stamp dated 113 13 78. The Polka was composed in 1878 to celebrate the British takover of Cyprus in 1878. Lithographer was M&N Hanhart Chromo Lith.. Original Printed Music. Paper Covers. Fine. Folio.
