Sixth edition, 12mo, pp. 512, [1]; title printed in red and black; very good, bright copy in orig. green cloth gilt, t.e.g.; printed the same year and in the same format as the first edition with the exception of the words "or illumination" in the title. See Kramer 69: "This was the best selling book as well as the most important piece of contemporary literature issued by Stone & Kimball. It is also in its early printings one of their most competent and compact pieces of bookmaking."
