About This Item

This is a near-perfect copy of David Copperfield, the classic story of the life of a Victorian boy by Charles Dickens which he began publishing in 1849. This is a 1964 British edition.

This is a handsome copy. It is green flexible leather boards with a silver foil and navy blue design on the cover and spine. 4" x 6", 798 pages.

Two tiny drops of that navy ink dotted the cover. There is minor soiling to the sides of the pages. There is minor waving to the paper from improper storage. But it appears to be un-read. Inside, the binding is tight and the pages are bright, clean and clear.

Synopsis

"The most perfect of all the Dickens novels' Virginia WoolfWhen David Copperfield escapes from the cruelty of his childhood home, he embarks on a journey to adulthood which will lead him through comedy and tragedy, love and heartbreak and friendship and betrayal. Over the course of his adventures, David meets an array of eccentric characters and learns hard lessons about the world before he finally discovers true happiness.
