About This Item

New York: Rizzoli, 1994. Hardcover. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. 31 x 27 cm. Quarto. 223pp. Pink cloth in illustrated tissue jacket. There is some light toning to the spine of the cloth and jacket. A few small closed tears to the tissue jacket. David Salle rose rapidly to prominence as the enfant terrible of New Painting, the return of artists to figurative paintings on canvas that became one of the hallmarks of the 1980s.
