The first edition of this mystery novel by Aaron Marc Stein, writing as the fictional inspector George Bagby, a presentation copy signed and inscribed by the author. A thrilling mystery novel written by the fictional inspector George Bagby, detailing the latest adventure of Bagby and Detective Inspector Schmitty. The first edition of this work. Written by Aaron Marc Stein, under the pen name of the main character, George Bagby. A presentation copy signed and inscribed by "Bagby" to the front free-endpaper, to 'Irene', who had provided him with much assistance in the writing of this book. Enclosed in the original dust wrapper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with some light shelf wear and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Originally unclipped dust wrapper has some edgewear and chipping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. A few tidemarks to the extremities. Containing an ink inscription from the author to the front free-endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Some light chipping to the extremities of the first and last few pages, and age-toning to the extremities of the pages throughout. Very Good
