Half calf with gilt rule and marbled boards, 4 raised bands with two black leather labels and gilt particulars to spine. Marbled edges. French text. Bookplate to front pastedown of each volume, otherwise no previous owners' names or other markings. Lacking top leather label to volume 1, losses to top leather labels of volumes 3 and 5 (see image). General wear to boards. 4 x 7 inches.
