About This Item

U.S.A.: Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, 2006. "Kernel Fleck has always known he's weird. He sees lights. Strange, multi-colored patches of light swirling through the air. But it's not until a window opens into a demon world, with horrific consequences, that Kernel discovers his powers. " This is a handsome book that is unread: Black paper over boards with blue gilt print on spine; very light scuff on front board; 250 pages; tight binding - no reader's crease or page seperation; bottom, front corner is VERY gently bumped; no external or internal marks; no chips, tears or creases in the book; dust jacket displays one, closed tear and slight edge wear at top edge - now protected in archival brodart wrapper; text block is bright and clean; first edition/first printing; full number line; much closer to near fine than very good.. First American Edition/First Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good++/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.

Synopsis

Demon Thief is a book in Darren Shan's Demonata series. Though it is the second book in the series, it is a prequel to Lord Loss, the first book in the series. The protagonist is also different from that of the first book, a character called Kernel Fleck, who is the narrator of the book. Demon Thief takes place thirty years before Lord Loss so most of the characters from the first book did not appear, though a few did.
