One of 1250 numbered copies, signed by the publisher, Eugene Connett. Inscribed by the author on both title pages: "To Harry J Caesar hoping that he will enjoy some of the recipes in this book, from the author, L. P. De Gouy, June 30th 1937." The author was an Escoffier-trained chef and chief food editor for Gourmet Magazine.
