Bound in the original printed wrappers, medal illustration on front, beautifully illustrated publisher's ad on back. Tall, untrimmed, unsophisticated copy, dog-eared and bit shabby, preserved entirely in the original state with all the beautiful illustrations in fine condition. ~ Rare first issue of first edition of this stand-alone publication of the Preface to Charvet's important work on seals, published by the author himself. 006-5
