UK: Osgood Mcilvaine, 1896. First Edition Thus 1st Printing. Cloth. Very Good ++/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. H Macbeth-Raeburn. 1st Edition Thus 1896. Includes a degree of the original wrapper. 1st printing in the new edition by Osgood of the Works of Thomas Hardy and complete in it's own right. Etching by H Macbeth-Raeburn, with tissue guard to title page and a map of Wessex. With a new preface written by the author for this edition. Book is very good++ and bright. Contents good. Pages slightly age toned. Wrapper is about fair with most of the spine missing but otherwise mainly complete. More images can be taken upon request. Ref17431
