Devotion and Commandment: The Faith of Abraham in the Hasidic Imagination

Arthur Green uses this Hasidic debate on the patriarchs and the commandments as a point of departure for a wide-ranging consideration of the relationship between piety and commandment in Hasidic Judaism.
