Half black cloth over marbled boards, spine gilt lettered (outer edges of boards sligghtly frayed). ¶ Lépin, a studend of i.a. Charcot & Virchow is best known for his investigations in experimental medicine, including extensive research involving glycolysis and the pathophysiology of diabetes. This is his most important work on the subject.
