Gr.8°, 451 S., Kart., Tadell. - In den hellenistischen Städten bestand ein Gegensatz zwischen der formalen, im Durchschnitt demokratischen Verfassung und der Verfassungswirklichkeit, in der ueberall eine kleine Oberschicht die politische Fuehrung in der Hand hielt. Die Ursachen dafuer lagen in neuen Anforderungen der auáenpolitischen Beziehungen und der Entwicklung neuer Beduerfnisse im Inneren. Sie fuehrten in den Städten, fuer die machtpolitische und finanzielle Schwäche konstitutiv waren, zu einer verstärkten Personalisierung der Politik und damit zu einem Honoratiorenregime. Die Kehrseite dieser Entwicklung war die abnehmende Bedeutung der Volksversammlung, die weitgehend ein Organ der öffentlichen Resonanz auf die verdienstvolle Tätigkeit der Honoratioren und damit Quelle des von diesen erstrebten sozialen Prestiges wurde, aber selbst in der Kaiserzeit einen gewissen Stellenwert in der politischen Willensbildung behielt. 010

With the order the customer accepts receiving our newsletter with the latest offers per e-mail. All personal data are confidental and will never be passed to third parties.

Terms of payment

Invoices are to be paid within 15 days. For first orders we reserve delivery after payment in advance. In case of delay of payment, the second reminder is charged at an extra cost of CHF 10.00. Also, other additional costs are charged to the customer.

Sales return

In the event of a well-founded claim, the merchandise can be returned upon consultation within 14 days. If the claim turns out to be unsubstantiated, or the damage is the result from improper handling by the customer etc., all the costs are charged to the customer. Returns are only accepted with the invoice enclosed. Damages during shipment have to be notified within 48 hours. Otherwise the refund expires. Return upon dissatisfaction is excluded.

Place of venue

We are subject only to Swiss law. Place of venue is Zurich.
