He discovered the harbor of Port Moresby and China Strait, and re-discovered Milne Bay. He retired from the British navy as an admiral. 328 pp, ads, 4 plts, 3 maps. Blue gilt stamped cloth, very slt. marked o/w a very nice copy of this scarce book. F 12801.
