A well presented first edition copy of 'Distance', signed by the author to the title page, in the unclipped dust wrapper. First edition, first impression. Signed by the author to the title page. 'Distance' is a work of fiction by Colin Thubron, which describes the life adventures of a young astronomer named Edward who has lost his memory. Edward decides to return to his cottage to see if he can remember anything, and finds a loving letter written by a woman who he cannot recall. Colin Thubron is a British travel writer and novelist. He was ranked among the fifty best postwar British writers by Times Magazine in 2008. Collated, complete. In the original cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with no noticeable faults. Dust wrapper also excellent, with minimal edgewear and a few marks to reverse of wraps. Internally, firmly bound.
