Lexington, KY: Gravesend Press, 1952. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 36 leaves illustrated with 15 hand colored woodcuts by Fritz Kredel. Bound by Elizabeth Kner in vellum boards with yap edges. One of 50 copies printed for The Gravesend Press. Designed by Victor Hammer and printed by Jacob Hammer in red and black Jessen type on handmade Hayle paper. This is copy 36. It has been stated that only 37 were actually produced. Not to be confused with an edition of 350 done for The Caxton Club, on a different paper, not colored, with a different binding. Vg+ to near Fine with small bump and the usual age toning to the vellum..
