Original brown embossed boards rebacked with new black spine cloth, white printed title labels on spine. Previous owner's decorative printed bookplate inside front board of several volumes. Boards rubbed, moderate wear to extremities. Pages toned with foxing throughout, bindings straight and tight. Volume I lacking maps, Volume X includes several fold-out maps, no tearing or significant flaws, overall a handsome and well preserved eleven-volume set. Extensive collection of colonial New York history, with Volumes I and II containing Holland documents, Volumes III - VIII containing London documents, and Volumes IX and X with French documents. Volume XI is the general index. An uncommon complete set - photographs available on request. ; MCN29741; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
