Octavo, grayish blue cloth titled in gilt on spine & in gilt with vignette stamped in gilt on front cover, in B&W dw. The covers are bumped with the extremities somewhat faded. The dw is soiled & chipped with small pieces out of the top edge. The dw front panel is detached. xi, [iii] & 404 pp. Profuse B&W illustrations. Very good. <p>First edition.<p>A study of Cologne Cathedral, including its architecture, sculpture, paintings and religious artifacts. The text is in German.
