Illustrated cloth cover in several colours (see illustration on our own site and on abe) ; rubbing and slight fraying to cloth at the spine ends and wear to cover corners; front hinge reinforced with clear tape; faint foxing to eps; colour frontis, browned at edges on white surround, and protected by (foxed) tissue guard. Some browning to edges of decorated title page. Pages of book unevenly cut - not unusual for books at this time. 11 full page colour plates (as there should be) including frontis - all bright and clean; other illustrations are b/w and half page. Occasional mark on pages from use. G+; ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
