Description

Baltimore: tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE, 1980. First Edition. Very good +.. Stark concrete poetry collages made in part from xeroxes of the Baltimore lit mag E-POD - edited by Kirby Malone and Marshall Reese, though neither of them credited here - by Lamar Layfield and Charles Brohawn (the latter a member of the band The Tinklers). Sound artist and publisher tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE, contributes collages based on his high school yearbook. cONVENIENCE's online bibliography describes two "(basically 'identical') editions of 100 each" for this publication, which was "originally intended to be" an issue of E-Pod itself. Though not noted, this copy ex-libris DC poet Doug Lang. Wraps. 4to. Side-stapled wraps. Very good plus with light handling wear. Clean and bright overall. Unpaginated.
