About This Item

Jupille-Liège: Éditions de la "Minorité Inconsciente, n.d.. Pamphlet. 7p. pamphlet, paper evenly toned, mild handling, very good. 5x6.5 inches. One holding found in OCLC as of June 2023. Pamphlet on the occasion of the Rexist politician Degrelle's departure for Berlin. Analyzes recent election results, which showed the Rexists with fewer supporters in 1937 than in 1936, and much of the political spectrum aligned against Degrelle. The rear panel asks the reader to respond with thoughts on whether Belgium would stay neutral if war arose between France and Germany. During the war Degrelle was a close collaborator of the Nazis, and the Spanish government under Franco helped him go into hiding after the war. He survived to become a major neo-Nazi figure from the 1960s into the 1990s.
