London: For John Stockdale, 1811. Thick Quarto. . xliv, 721 pages. When Sarah Weaver wrote "Word Hoard" on Tennyson's use of the classics for the Tennyson Research Bulletin, she noted that this was the edition he read at Trinity College, Cambridge for the work of 17th century language in plays. Closed tear of text [ix]-xii otherwise very good copy of a scarce work bound in 3/4black-brown straight grained morocco over green linen, raised bands gilt, red morocco spine label gilt, some light chipping to lower corner of upper board, occasional spots of scattered foxing. A handsome copy.
