New York: Delacorte Press. Very Good in Good+ dust jacket. 1966. First Edition. Hardcover. 192 p. 21 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards with stamped heron illustration and titles. Corners bumped, one extending along edge somewhat. Text block edges have light soiling. Edges of the endpapers have faded slightly. Inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dustjacket has three small tears (up to 2") on rear panel which have been repaired on back side with tape. Some additional edge and corner wear, more so to the spine ends. Moisture stain on the back side of the front panel does not show through. Not price clipped. The story of Wabus, a young Chippewa boy, in Wisconsin at the turn of the 20th century. .
