Synopsis
Jamal Mahjoub ist ein Wanderer zwischen den Welten. Als Sohn einer Englaenderin und eines Sudanesen wurde er 1960 in London geboren. Seine Schulzeit verbrachte er im Sudan. Schliesslich studierte er Geologie an der Universitaet von Sheffield. Heute lebt Mahjoub im daenischen Aarhus, wo er als Uebersetzer, Publizist und Autor arbeitet. Fuer seinen historischen Roman »Der Sternenseher« wurde er in der britischen Presse enthusiastisch gefeiert.
