The internment of 2542 Germans & Austrians either political or racial refugees, in Australia, after being deported on the HMT Dunera. The book was written without access to the most relevant document, which had been placed under a 100 year embargo by BOTH the British and Australian Governments. Rubbing of the book corners an strip edges. Very light age toning of the text block edges. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels and the panel show some marks. Fading of the back strip.
