In an epic 32 cantos the author has put down, in writing, his thoughts, feelings, philosophy, humour, hardships and life as a prisoner of war of the Japanese during World War II. the book is still shows no damage, being claimed and free of annotation, the dust jacket has a rubbing it to the top and bottom edges, and has abrasions on the left hand margin of the front panel.
