Welch 124. Cundall 1722. The author, who previously wrote A Year's Journey Through Central and Eastern Arabia, describes the topography, the coast, the capital, rivers, Cottica, Bush Negroes, Munnickendam, the colony, etc, with much on overall conditions and people of Dutch Guiana, now called Surinam, which the author calls a "Creole paradise".
