Black and white illustrations. Fold-out tables at rear. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends lightly bumped, with bottom fore corners rubbed through to boards. Imprinted bookplate on front endpaper. Introduction and first few pages have small wrinkles and a roughened area in bottom margin. Fold-out tables curled at the gutter edges. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. 276 pages + tables. Spine title: Early Christian Iconography. Plain grey dust jacket with black lettering has light surface and edge wear, with chips and small missing pieces at the corners, top edge, and spine ends; protected in clear plastic cover.
