[LGBTQ] [Pulp] Salem, Randy (Pat Purdue). The Soft Sin. New York:" Midwood Books, 1962. First edition with cover confirming "First Printing Anywhere". 191 pages. Measures 4.25" x 7". Vintage illustrated cover features two women, one in the foreground with messy hair, while a blonde woman lays down on a couch behind her. Tagline reads: "She fell in love with her boss, but her boss was a woman." One of few pulp novels written by a woman, Purdue was reportedly involved in a relationship with fellow Lesbian pulp author Sally Singer. Considered one of the women in the group writing "Pro-lesbian" pulp fiction by Yvonne Keller. Listed in Grier at the highest tier, meaning it has significant lesbian characters and action and is an important piece in any lesbian pulp collection. Cover is vibrant and clean, with one small price sticker in corner. Textblock is tight. Overall, pulp is in very good condition.
