US: Henry Shuman, 1950. First Edition First Printing. Hardback. Very Good/Very Good -. First Edition, First Printing. Off-white cloth over boards with bronze particulars to spine and bronze decoration to front board. Top corner of plate at page 97 dog eared and pencil marking to first free end paper; otherwise, pages and plates are clean and unmarked. Text block has light foxing to top edge; glue residue to lower edge near spine. Foxing to spine, along spine edges and top edge of front board; corners bumped. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket is bright with light foxing to fold of flaps and rear cover particularly around edges; creasing and chipping to edges, corners and ends of spine; dampstain to middle of spine.
