London; Hodder & Stoughton, 1958., 1958. Hard Cover. FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. 192. 6 colour plates by Stead, including frontispiece. Publishers' red cloth with black titles to spine and upper board and spaceman motif to upper board, in price-clipped pictorial dust-jacket. Gift inscription to ffep and light foxing to textblock edge. Jacket has several small nicks and closed tears with small areas of loss, mainly to head of spine, and creasing to edges. Overall a Near Fine book in a good jacket. Adventures in the outer reaches of the Milky Way with Professor Brane and friends. Scarce, especially in the fragile dust-jacket.
