A good copy with slight warping, soiling, rubbing and browning to wrappers (chiefly to top edge of upper wrapper); previous owner's ink inscription on half-title page; slight internal browning to edges. [ca. 100] pages (unpaginated; including plates at rear). Spine title: Egon Schiele-Austellung 1968; upper wrapper title and half-title: Egon Schiele: Gemalde. Text in German. Later issue ('Zweite Auflage'; title page recto) of the catalogue of the exhibition at the gallery's Oberes Belvedere, April - September 1968; in conjunction with the exhibition 'Egon Schiele: Leben und Werk' at the Historisches Museum der Stadt Wien (April - September 1968) and the exhibition 'Gustav Klimt - Egon Schiele: Zeichnungen und Aquarelle' in the Albertina (April - June 1968). Introductory essays by Fritz Novotny and Hans Bisanz; biographical chronology and bibliography. Not located in Freitag. With advertisement for Otto Kallir's catalogue raisonne of Schiele's paintings on last printed leaf.76 Color & b/w Illustrations (including 2 b/w facsimiles).
