Edited by the great American explorer John Wesley Powell, who served as the director of the Bureau of Ethnology brom 1879 to his death. . Includes brief descriptions of many works in progress and two complete papers: "A Study of Pueblo Architecture, Tusayan and Cibola," by Victor Mindeleff, and "Ceremonial of Hasjelti Dailjis and Mythical Sand Painting of the Navaho Indians," by James Stevenson. Index, 123 Plates, 118 Figures. Also includes three folded Plans, stored in a pocket attached to the back cover. . 4to 11" - 13" tall. 298 pages. H6 .
