First thus of The Elizabethan Home Discovered in 2 Dialogues by Claudius Hollyband and Peter Erondell in the original publisher's quarter cloth binding. Edited by M. St. Clare Byrne. Limited edition of 725 numbered copies. This is number 300.These dialogues have been reprinted from the work of Hollyband and Erondell, two refugees who taught French in Elizabethan London. Their experiences give us a picture of every day life at this time. Illustrated with engravings throughout the text. Includes two publisher's advertisements as inserts. Prior owner's book plate to the front pastedown. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. This has resulted in some slight wear to the extremities. Prior owner's book plate to the front pastedown.
