Dodd, Mead and Company, New York, 1965. First American Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Book Nice collectible copy of the First America Edition, published one year after the original Collins publication in the UK Size: 7.5"-8" - Small Octavo (Sm. 8vo). Item Type: Book. Text block is tight, bright and unmarked. Hardcover bound in lime-green paper over boards with the black Red Badge Detective logo on the front cover and the title with the logo and "This is a Red Badge Mystery" notice on the spine. Corners are sharp, though worn at the very tips. There is also wear at the head and foot of the spine, resulting in some loss of the green paper at the edges. The unclipped dust jacket ($3.50) shows a little wear at the edges of the front panel and head and foot of the spine. There is a small chip at the top of the front fold and a larger (1/8") chip at the bottom. There is a small (3/16") closed ear at the top of the rear panel and an original Rike's price sticker (for 49 cents) at the foot of the rear flap. The jacket has been protected for some time in a clear sleeve, keeping it in Very Good condition . All edges clean, neat and free of foxing. Quantity Available: 1.
